Do Big FLUX sticks,
Do Big FLUX sticks,
remove the need of stacking?
If in my case the Smarty adds timing and duration, and the injectors are Flux 3.5.
Will this be the same or equivalent to a Smarty, stock injectors and a TST?
Looking for the main purpose of stacking.
TIA

Not positive, but I woud have to say a Smarty and Flux 3.5's would put down way more power than a Smarty/TST stack with stock sticks.
I like the adjustability of the TST/Smarty stack. I use the TST for the timing so you can turn down the timing when it is artificially advanced with injectors. I run the WILD Smarty on the highest setting with NO timing. Then I use an MP8 for adjustability to the pressure. Cruising to work and back, I'm on MP8 10%, TST 1/1 getting 20+ MPG on 40" Toyo's. Ricer rolls up beside of me at a light. Within 3 seconds, my MP8 is 100%, TST is on 6/6 and 10 seconds later I can't see the ricer anymore because of the smoke cloud I left him in.
You don't have any pressure with that combo. If you wait for the new Smarty software to come out it should have pressure - or add a pressure box. I know Smarty beta 4.4, flux 3.5s, stage 2 cp3, and a 66 turbo is good for 650hp+.

The bigger the injector flow the less adjustability you have for the times you don't need or want big power and smoke. Stacking lets you tune the truck using different parameters and different methods....Smarty goes straight to the ECM so it covers all engine functions, TST controls the injectors only, and a pressure box usually runs off the MAP or rail sensor. To get maximum and usable minimum power...stacking or a couple of good boxes is the easiest. Kerry
Adjustability is great and all, but once you start upgrading turbos then you need more baseline fuel anyway. Even my small twins were laggy with stock fueling, but they spool great with the 100hp sticks.
Seems pretty clear
I run the beta tune so pressure is avaliable. I'm hoping with the twin pumps I will have no issues at the rail.
I'm going to hold off an additional box and see what I can lay down.

If you get a rail pressure gauge and run a pressure box on that truck I think you will surprised at what the rail psi is with john's stage two pump. With my 3.5 sticks a quad box on performance and a triple dog with a racing program I see 26,500 psi at wot and the gauge does not drop any with just a single pump
It takes alot of air to burn the Fuel from flux 3.3's....not really for everyday use unless you have a tight pair of twins....with my smallB1/BigB2....I had to keep the boost over 20psi to avoid lots of smoke... a light haze all the time made me no friends and even my friends started to give me grief.....that's with a ported head and H2 cam...At the track it was solid smoke until I hit 70psi and then it was just heat and burned fuel out of the stack....can't drive around at 70psi....and that was on TST1 and Smarty 3,5,7....9 just didn't spool as it was too much fuel....and my rail was at max.
