soulezoo currently has a banks six gun stacked with smarty, but I think it's on borrowed time until he can obtain more mods and switch out the box.

From what I heard on this site many times before, the crew will tell you to sell the six gun on ebay and go smarty ... possibly stack with a pressure box like the MP-8 later .... if u need more fuel.

DITCH OLE GALE,
AND GET YOURSELF A SMARTY.
To be honest though your trans wont hold the smarty alone(if its stock) so stacking the smarty will only tear it up faster....

buy the smarty and try the stack- you can always pull the banks off and sell it if you don't like it.

I've been reading your posts and I wanted to know if you would stack the Smarty with the Six Gun with PDA, Would you still be able to use the PDA to moniter your EGT's and some of the other vitals? I do like the PDA. What really woke my truck up is the 90 HP injectors. It is a huge difference. I have adjusted the settings on the Speed loader option and the computer with the injectors is really awsome!

From what I have seen the '03 trucks respond better to the preadator as opposed to the smarty. I have had both on my truck and have gone with the predator over the smarty. You can pick up the predator/powerpuck combo for around $360. I am not sure if you can triple stack those with the banks. Don't know much about the banks stuff. But if not you can always sell the banks. There always seems to be the very small percentage of bombers that are looking for the safer power that banks provides.

They will stack OK. It should be a natural complement to one another, (Banks is pressure + timing, Smarty is timing + duration-- need to run Smarty without timing if using Banks) but doesn't quite work out that way. Banks has a narrow, peaky powerband for one, the second, even with PDA models that can modify some safties it still will defuel at 40 psi on turbo among other things. You know, turn on ignition, Banks defuels... In the long run, Banks can only hold you back after getting you to a certain level power. As I have found out. On the dyno not too long ago, I made about 70 more HP with Smarty/power puck stack than Smarty/Banks stack... thats no lie there. But the Banks runs a lot smoother than the puck does so I use it until play time and then Banks is disconnected.

I would take anything over the banks personally. the only thing ive owned by them fit up like poop. I own a smarty and it has worked really good on my truck so far. the smarty has many different tunes depending upon what your setup is.

I have them stacked on my 06 and they work great together. I mainly use the banks for the gauges but its nice to be able to adjust on the fly with it and get some more power when running smarty on lower levels.
