NO, the Diablo doesn't do Tire Change. I don't know about the High Idle though. Go with a Smarty! I'm saving for one right now.

I have the triple dog with the crazy larry download and I would say its definately worth the money. However if you are running the Crazy larry fuel map, be careful it gets those egt's up there in a hurry.

i have the diablo and i really like thier customer service, they have a forum like thisone on thier site and its pretty good, the only caompaint i have is i hate the way it updates on the pc,its a serial port that needs a seperate power suply, seems real old sckool, not sure if the ones forthe new trucks are usb or not but they all shouldbe, its a real pain, but the tuners performance makes up for it hahaha

WOW...a lot of hate for the Superchips on here... I have a SC and I like it a lot! Great power and I dont need to mess with anything....Set it, and forget it! hahaha. Really, though, its the only thing I have ever had, but I like it and dont see the need to change to anything else. What makes you guys think they are so bad? What makes the other ones so much better?

Superchips aren't that bad. Compared to a Smarty on my truck... I would take the Superchips, no joke.

This really is a good point. Set it and forget it. I have my Superchips back on and the Diablo off for now. With the Superhcips there is not a thing to let me know anything is altered except the power. Power is nothing like the Predator I must say.

Is the Diablo undectable to the dealer, unlike the key counter that gets erased by superchips? They are the most none customer orientated company I have run into in a long time

I own all of the tuners in question, and it really comes down to what your looking for in a tuner. Here's my take on each tuner that I own and have used on my '06:

Superchips FlashPaq - Provides moderate power with virtually no smoke. However, it's been plagued by pathetic product support and empty promises of an extreme tune. In fact, it's been detuned to make it compatible with their FireFly product.

Diablo Predator - Provides excellent power, but can be a little on the smokey side if you aren't careful with the throttle. The support while at first was excellent has recently slipped. Also, my truck idles/runs somewhat rough with this tuner compared to the others.

Triple Dog - Provides excellent power and the smoke is very controllable, it can smoke as little or as much as you'd like. Support is excellent as you can talk directly with the engineer, Bud Kunz, right here on DTR. The recent 2.4 software release put this tuner back on top IMHO.

SmartyCR - Provides excellent power, but likes to smoke regardless of the power level or tune. You can drive it without smoking if you don't mind being one of the the slowest accelerating vehicles on the road. But, this is the only tuner to make the claim of not being detectable by the dealer making it warranty friendly. Support is good, but could be better.

Good Luck!
