I have the Diablo Sport Preditor on my 03 with an intake and straight piped, I purchased it after i had my transmission rebuilt to stock specs and it ate up my torque converter! I had a billet one installed quickly and no problems after that I do have a EGT and when I run 1/4 mile it will get to 1450 by the end of the race. I recommend the Torque converter, and EGT Guages min before you use it very much, and if you feel a little shudder when your converter locks up at around 50-60 mph your converter is going to go soon!

the stock transmission will hold up for a while... i have mine on level 3 on the edge with the extreme tune predator... and i only slip the trans about 9% for right now...i know it will eventually blow ...but not for a bit.

My tranny doesnt slip at all on the tune I have now. But I am not pushing alot of power, just enough to beat any stock truck.

How does the predator compare to the triple dog on the 03-04 models. I have removed my BDTD and man does my truck shift/drive better. I am very interested in trying the predator.

the triple dog is 100ish hp, seems to make the 305 engine shift funny, and surge when running on cruise control. The predator is 160 hp, runs smooth, dosent surge on cruise control. But is too much hp for a stock tranny

So what can be done (without a suncoast or =) to our stock 48s to get the power to the ground and can you give part #s

get a torque converter and valve body replacement from a reputable builder like Goerend or Suncoast.

My Aurora 2k turbo is terrific with the Pred. It's like... what turbo lag! It even keeps egt down to 1350 on extreme. Craig
