it would be for an 06....a buddy of mine has been planning on getting a smarty, but he has an offer to to sum trading and get the diablo stack...so he is trying to decide if its worth it, or just spend the money for the smarty and be done...

Like the earlier post said, I think the diablo works well on the 555s. If you follow their forums, the 06 and up crowd want to rip their heads off.

I have an 03. I ran the predator/puck combo for about a year. The combo makes my truck run super strong with manageable egts.

With all of the hype, I sold the pair on ebay and bought a smarty. The smarty was nice, but I swear that the diablo runs stronger and better on my 03. Now, with that said, I'm sure bob and marco could send me a tune that would eat the diablo for lunch, but I am not a twin-turbo, big injector, 11 second q/m guy.

With that said, I thought the diablo was a better buy at $310. I purchased another after returning the smarty. I am not running the puck anymore, as I don't think the extra pressure is worth the 10-20 horsepower that they claim. I also was not impressed with their "stack" tunes.

This is exactly how I felt when I had my predator/puck stack and then compare it to the smarty I now have. I went ahead and got the smarty as I am loooking to buy an '06 or '07 and will be able to use is on that truck as well as the one I have now. But for my '03 the stack was well worth the money if you ask me.

If you go diablo, just hope that nothing happens as their customer support sucks big time..

The U7131 for the 06's has a new program that works pretty good, it has an adjustable top speed limiter and is "Claimed" to not erase the key counter.
Customer service is pretty mediocre but I like the way the Predator performs.
I had a Smarty for this truck first and couldn't live with the smoke and the way the transmission shifted, I switched to the predator and was much happier. It's my understanding that the latest round of Smarty updates are vastly improved over what I started with, kinda' wish I kept the Smarty to do a head to head comparison...oh well.....
