Dead Clutch Hydraulics (AGAIN) - more SB or stock?
For the second time my Southbend hydraulics have failed, first was a broken m/c and now the replacement set just quit (won't shift). I've reinstalled the stock hydraulics and they work fine but will they last?
I have the low level (iirc, 425hp & 900tq) single disc SB clutch on a bone stock truck. It seems like I'm getting 3 yrs out of the SB hydraulics, I bought this brand because it's supposed to be the best - very frustrating & disappointing. Is there a better alternative or will the stock parts hold up to the SB clutch?
Of course, this happens a week before my wife and daughter will make a trip 4 hrs away for a horse show.
