CP3/FCA/Wicked diesel's Arson II kit...
Afternoon, DTR...
I got the Arson II kit from Shane at wicked diesel last week, and when I went to install it, the new FCA would not fit... pics explain why... there was something sticking out where the o-rings were.
Mine's on the left, the new one's on the right...

I e-mailed Shane last night at arount 2200 my time, (he called me back at 2300 on a Sunday night... he woke me up when I had to get up a 0430 the next day... I guess I can't get mad, he was all over it...
) He said the the piece sticking out of his FCA was still in my pump, and I needed to get it out... any suggestions? It's kinda hard to see, and I don't wanna be sticking pliers in where I can't see...
TIA!

Just to make sure you did not confuse Shane, thats the gear rotor fuel pump on the back of the CP3. The FCA is the cylinder that the 2 wire plug goes into.
Its been a while since I pulled mine apart but I cant think of what would be doing that. I cant really remember but if you cant get an answer I will pull mine back apart for ya. I am pretty sure you will find out pretty quick on here.

Well, I sent him the pics... Thanks for the correction... Wait... I don't think that's what the dodge manual says... hmmm.... I'll look that up later...
I got a beer on the bet, what do you have?

The picture, is the supply pump for the CP3, your seal has came out of your supply pump and is stuck in the CP3 case. You may take a small pick and dislodge it. I have never seen or heard of one these sticking in the pump, as it is pressed into the housing on the supply pump.

Ok... No worries... like I said last night, I'll have to take it apart again tonight and look. Something like a scribe will get it out? New, uncharted mods for me that involve expensive parts if I screw up always make me nervous...
Again, as also mentioned in a reply in a previous thread, Shane at wicked has given me great customer service thus far... no doubt about that there.
We'll see soon...
Oh, yeah, that was not my coozie, (reason why it was empty) and I drink budweiser, not miller chill....

I was trying to remember what you were drinking in the kiddie pool. I actually took the time to dig it up. Bud Light Lime.
I must admit, I admire you for what you do for our country but that is not beer. You are not too far away to know about Yuengling Lauger... the ONLY beer. Thats not only because I am from PA and thats where it is made, its because its the truth.

I got the supply pump on, but the dang FCA screws are stuck on, so no love.
With no programmer on except the MP8, I am fine. I'm waiting to get an edge to work... that's another story...

Mad,
I installed the Arson kit on my pump (waiting on my duals from Lloyd)...and it's really impressive! It helped a lot.....it's not all I need but it will get me by for a little while. Well worth the money! Matter of fact I may order another to put on top! I think you will really like the mod! And as for the FCA screws, once out, went back in with allen head, (I think), M5 8mm....from local ACE hardware.
Ohh yeah....Cardinal Rule Violation!!!....Never take a picture of an empty Koozie....Its just not right!
