Converting a Auto to 6spd

How much hassle is it really you can get a remanned manual for cheap even equipped with billet input and output and new clutch cheaper than a performance tranny. So anybody let me know please sounds tempting also. I am leaking fuel directly from the pump what the hell is up with that? I am still totally stock for another 24,000 miles.
