Computer Programmers for 05

Hey guys,

I have mods in sig, and the two boxes I have are Edge J/A and MP-8 (standard tune).

I am planning on pulling both and sending them for a reflash. I would like to get the Hot J/A reflash and an mp-8 reflash to match the Hot Juice. Is there such a thing and would this be a good stack? Let me know your thoughts. Right now I feel that the best settings are E J/A level 3 and MP-8 at 50%. Any more on either and truck feels funny, and the MP8 itself seems to smoke a lot but not as much power as the J/A. Its hard to say.

Before I put the reflashed boxes on, I'd like to get a GS Pro fuel pump kit, fuel pressure gauge and possibly a new turbo.

But while my boxes are gone, i have another question.

Does anyone make a tuner or programer, that can flash the stock computer for things like tire size changes, speed limiter removal, etc? What about tranny adjustments? Has anyone figured out a way yet to LOCK OUT THIRD!!! Geez, I can't belive they did that in '05.

I have tunercat software for my lt1 and man is that nice. You can change everything. I'm not looking for something that extensive, but I just want to be able to change the basic things and maybe add 30-80hp while I wait for my boxes to be reflashed and my other upgrades to arive. I would not plan on stacking this "tuner" with my boxes as that would be too much, but would like to keep the speed limiter/tire size and other, non power making adjustments in there tho.

Even a mail order tune that I could upload would be cool. I do have a usb-obdII cable (that i use on my gm car) to interact with my laptop.

Thanks a lot for your time guys, let me know what you think!

There are two programmers that adjust for tire size, the Superchips Flashpaq and the Smarty. I havent heard of alot of people stacking the superchips but im sure the smarty would be a good stack with the two that you have. Itll take some fine tuning and im not sure if just the upgraded VB and TC you have will handle it.
