clutch pedal stiff

I installed an edge ez yesterday stacked on my diablo and got it out on the road
and shifting between 4 & 5 the clutch pedal seems to stiffen up almost like the hydraulics are gone but give it a second and it then becomes easier???? that is with the programmer on extreme rkl & the ez on max.. not too sure what the problem is here, as it hasn't happened before!! any help or suggestions would help out! thanks

If the hydros were gone then the pedal would not be stiff at all. It wouldnt take much effort at all to push down if they were gone.

When the factory DMF gets real hot, the pedal gets "sticky." I think it is the plate, disc, & flywheel actually kind of sticking together. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

The clutch is slipping and you are welding the faces togather.

pete at southbend says it is not welding together....it is the dmf seperating pushing back against the bushing and creating backpressure in the line......or something like that. it happened to me and that was the answer i got from him a few months ago.....it happens when you begin to overpower the clutch....and it is also a poor clutch design according to him....
