Just ordered my smarty today from larry here at the store with some other goodies. just wanted to fully understand some stuff. I understand that the current version is 4.11 is this correct? Is this the release of the 4.x beta versions or is this just another standard updated tune? If its not the betas can you still get them or has the new and upcoming tnt tunes replaced them? if so how do you go about getting the standard tnt tune for beta testing? Can i download old smarty tunes anywhere for more smoke if i want? or is there a way to set the 4.11 version to still smoke like a coal train? thanks for any help. jared

 

the 4.11 is the result of the 4.x beta testing. As far as getting the betas you will have to talk to Bob about that and from looking at your sig. the tnt tune is out of the question. He will not give it to you unless you have the mods to support it.

 

Dude trust me, stay with the 4.11 till u get ur tranny up to par...

okay. how do you go bout getting more smoke or does the 4.11 smoke like the old version?

 

well when the big brown truck drops it off, load er up with the 60 hp, added timing tune, mild tm and see what you think of the smoke from that. levels above that should wait for gauges, and tm above mild should wait for tranny work, or have a pile of money on hand if you can't control yourself.

 

4.11 smokes just fine on my truck. 4.4 smokes even more but its really hard on my tranny. I can easily make the TC slip so I'm going back to 4.11 for a little bit longer.haha
