Carr Super Hoops-N Fab Steps

Anyone have these on '05 or '06 yet?

Picked some up yesterday...Didnt mount them, just set them in place on some blocks under the truck...I like the drop they have, but I think they sit to far back under the rockers....Great for getting in the vehicle, but getting out, they're almost useless....Looks like I'll barely catch my heel on them, which makes me think the wife will never be able to use them getting out...Nerfs would be good since you can get you whole foot on them, but I dont want pontoons hanging off my truck, not to mention EVERYONE has nerfs

The Carr's are body-mount too, which I'm not pleased about

Looking at N-fab or Smitty Predators....Both are body mount
N-fab-paint only , but have a decent step pad
Smittybilt- Stainless but no step pad, and look flimsy

Dang this step thing is the worst decision yet...I may end up with rock rails and riggin my own drop steps

Any Ideas?

I have the Carr Super Steps 20" and I like them. They don't stick out to far is why I like them but the wife does complain about it.

I returned the Super Hoops, didnt like them, so I'm back at Sq1....

Those of you who have the N-Fab Nerf Steps....

How do you like them?
How sturdy are they?
How far do they drop?
How far do they come out from the side?
How well does the finish hold up?

Anybody have a pic. of these steps?? I feel the same way about my stock Mopar tube steps. I think they are to close to the rocker, and to get in is OK, but when I get out, I have to feel around for it, I honestly hate them. Does anybody know of a good chrome tube step that is away fro the rocker more for better footing?? I was really thinking of going with the Mopar Diamond plate set up for a good wide step.

I want a step that I can plant my whole foot on, not just catch my heel on it when getting out.

Anybody interested in the stock tube steps??? Truck only has 2,000 mi on it.
