Can you run the TST w/o using the guages?
I just got my used TST w/ guages and it didn't have the pyro or wiring for it. I don't mind ordering the parts but in the meantime can I still hook up the box and run it? I already have all the guages so I'm not worried about anything.
Or, can I use my existing Westach pyro??? Sure would be nice....

If I hookup this probe to the TST, I'll get rid of the other guage. I don't want to double tap or run two guages..
It also didn't come with the boost fitting but I'm not sure I even need it since I'm running the HTB2 turbo now....

you can run the TST and another gauge off of the same probe. I am and it works well for me. it doesn't have a boost fitting because it uses the MAP sensor for the gauge. you can run it w/o a probe no problem, the R37 doesn't use the pyro leads and all they do is bolt the 2 pyro leads together. The TST is the same between the R37 and R47, just different controllers.

Nevermind... I thought you had the R49.
Better yet, use one for post turbo to really see whats going on with your new turbo!
BTW what is the Max EGT reading that the TST is capable of displaying? I would keep the Gauges since the Boost on the TST won't read correctly over 40 Psi(upper limits on the factory Map sensor)
