Actually the smarty tnt-r is the only smarty program that gets rid of TM completely. The others just lets you add more fuel sooner but will still de-fuel while power braking. The bully dog will let you do it also but on bolth programmers with this option on you lose your PRND21 on dash.

With my Smarty Beta 4.4, I lose PRND21 on my dash as well. I thought it also eliminated TQ management.

Are you sure your even in 1st gear??? I had my tranny gone into default once (my fault) and it would not allow the truck to shift all the way down to 1st as a fail safe... But with the torque of these engines you really don't realize your not using 1st until you need a very quick take off and don't feel it...

I bet you not even shifting into 1st gear... manually shift into 1st gear, and after you wind up the engine, then shift into 2nd and see if the truck shifts... BUT make sure you do this before you hit 28mph or your convertor will lock up making you think you got a shift when you didn't.... I am not talking about "hammering" it, just drive like a normal person...

The TC won't lock by itself in 1st, so if it feels like it's shifting to 2nd then it is.

Yeah unlocking TM will kill your stock tranny for sure as I can bet you 2nd and 3rd gear clutch packs are already burnt.

unlocked torque manegement, works great tranny is fine. it eats massive amounts of tire. i really dont think my tranny is stock cause i abuse my truck everyday and i havent had any problems yet.
