I just installed the quad last week as well. I have the same feeling.....the power just isn't there. I don't notice a dramatic difference between the 60hp and 130hp setting. I'm giving it some time though b/c I haven't installed guages yet and I've just been able to get in for a few seconds for fear of high EGT's. I can tell its "working" as I feel a noticeable difference upon initial acceleration but it's just much less that I was expecting. I remember my old gasser it would just melt the tires when I stomped on it from a dead dig. Not so w/ the quadzilla box.....it will turn the tires over....but just barely. I know there is some turbo lag to be expected.....but......

If I don't have a change of heart within the next few weeks I'll probably post it for sale and pickup another box.

Sorry I was not testing them for mileage. But all on the low and mid range seemed to give a little better mileage. I think any small timing advance will give better mileage.

I also recently installed a quad race box and not very impressed with it all levels are working because I can feel the throttle response change when I switch levels but the power is not there and my egts stay the same as stock on all the levels.

I found my missing power! After thinking it over and how it works...There aew a few posts about the crank sprocket and the affects on altering its timing..After reading the posts I tried it..Now, thats what it should of been from the factory..I noticed after test driving with the Xzillaraider off, it felt like it was on level 1,so now on level #1 or 2 it does pull..Once the rain clears out I'll go for a long ride and ck it out in all levels.......Rich

my BD will black out an intersection from idle if i want. I can also get it to not smoke at all. its all in how much throttle you give it.

as long as you don't accelerate above 2000rpm it won't smoke

Mine smokes over 2000RPM. The higher the RPM the less smoke. The lower RPM the more smoke, due to the air flowing quicker at a higher RPM, so you dont have any lugging resulting in smoke

All I can say is it feels different than the EZ box, not sure as I only drove it about fifteen minutes and it being rush hour kinda hard to find spots open enough to get on it. I can tell that at the 100 setting I will need to clean my exhaust tip more often.... hey mosquito commision... you hirin? so far I like it tiem will tell what the BFG's think of it.
