I have done research on all of the programmers/boxes for awhile, and these are what I have come up with, Smarty is definatly majority choice, seems like a great product, but is has alot more useable power than I can safely use right now. I cant be trusted with free available horsepower. I had a juice/att. on my 04.5 And I like adjust on the fly. as well a monitor.
but the bullydog PMT looks killer.
I would like to buy something that would support future mods. as well as adjust speed limit, rev limit, tire correction ,

? on PMT = I keep seeing black and silver backlighting photos. no colors yet? what about touchscreen?
navigation uprade in possible future?
any color photos?
Buddy?

? on A2 = anyone running these? cant find much in the forums.
how well does nav. work?
internet upgradeable?
same program as on juice box?

Besides smarty are the other two "untraceable" in the ecm, other than in the fuel per cylinder table?

I can't add any input but would like too know about the A2 also. I'm thinking about upgrading if it's worth it.

 

I like bullydog and it is upgradeable along with the fact that it is touch sreen and here in the near future you will be totally adjustable as far as fueling, timing and etc...just look up buddy kunz is the man!!! thread it tells alot about the PMT.

 

The screen is color and with the latest version the touchscreen will work.

With the current hardware on the board navagation will not be possible.

I will not say untracable, however, if you do not go into recovery mode or "opt out" on a TSB warning and install anyway, then your fuel data and key cycles will remain intact.
