Built Tranny owners only: Question
I dont know what stall my converter is, but I do not notice that problem. Mine seems to have more low end now. But mine was slipping pretty bad for a while before the new one. I have a HTS (suncoast converter)
Excuse if this is a stupid question, i've just never driven in a truck w/ an aftermarket tranny.
If the point of an aftermarket tranny / parts is to get the power to the ground, but the tightness of the converter neuters the low end...what are you really gaining? Durability for higher hp levels? Better Accelleration (seems odd if the low end is negatively impacted),...

yep. My DTT builder has a stop sign he loves to play with.....stop at the stop sign and then its uphill from there. Let your foot off the brake and the truck starts moving and will ease up the hill on its own!
well i have notices that clunk on all auto's i have driven .. the "clunk" the concerns me the most is when you are coming to a stop and the truck shift from 2nd in to first .. that clunks !! and that is the first thing i thought of .. rear end and u-joints
