My buddy was towing my 20 foot dump trailer and blipped the throttle at 70kph and then Bang...I was towing the dually to the tranny shop within the hour.....arggghhh....Wish I had gotten an Opie IE shaft the first time....Opie, get ready for the contact. Kerry

Sorry for the delay but I just finished a looooonnnnngg 2 weeks of work.

This is the tranny from the grand poobah, twin, flux 3's days.

It was rebuilt back in April. New ATS TC.

No signs of twisted shaft then.

Twisted 1/4 inch and a jagged break stuck in the TC

Took out the TC seal so its a cut and weld job on a brand new converter

Tried to get an OPIE shaft but no answer to the info at opieparts.com so I had to go back and get another ATS which they gave me a very good deal on...it was 3 years old.

I run Smarty revo 3 all the time with Flux 1.5's and stock turbo....blip is well blip at 70km/h.

Billet Input, Billet Intermediate, stock output....still. Billet goodies.

Sounds just lik ethe way my intermediate went...

I think it was fatigue over many many miles.

Got the tranny back rolling and all is ok...for some strange reason mileage is wayyyyy up ...might be the new tc without the broken seal.
