Bought new Juice w/Attitude BUT....
I'm scared to hook it up! I have been reading about all these injector issues, warranty issues and was wondering if it is worth all the trouble to get a little extra MPG and towing power. I dont want to void my warranty by melting a piston or blowing an injector or having Dodge check my ECM and see that the Juice was hooked up. Is the juice a "downloader"? meaning can they tell it was on there if it isnt on there any more? I hate having this thing, looking at it, but being worried about hooking it up. I know it's one of the milder mods out there, and people say great things about it, but what do you guys think? This will be my first performance mod and don't want to screw anything up on my truck. Any opinions out there on this particular box and any personal experiences good or bad? Thanks in advance
Hey man, I was in you same shoes. Just hook it up, you'll love it. Your not gunna be "burning" pistons or blowing injectors. It gives you a range of power to select from. Just think, 5 levels of power at your finger tips. If you dont want all the power, dont pierce the pump wire...

Install it-you will be upset with yourself because you waited this long.
TexasRR - I have enjoyed my Juice and Attitude. My 2004.5 should be the same hook-up as yours. The pyro drill and tap was the only part I dreaded but even it went fairly smoothly. The Attitude lets you grow into the power as you need it. Keep your defuel limits set reasonably and you should be fine. I and others have thrown an occasional P2146 and P2149 code, (injector harness voltage or something which I merely cleared with a code reader), but overall the unit has been all its advertised especially with the on-the-fly adjustibilty and the built in guages. I hope you like it.

Mine did it before I was warmed up to at least 174 - do you remember when yours coded?

Can these codes be seen by the dealer as evidence of this performance mod? I only have 20,000 miles on my 05 and dont want to play with my 36,000 warranty coverage. My truck has been darn near flawless (except for door seal tear and now the passenger side A/C deal) and I don't want to jinx it!

Anytime you buy a chip or programmer you run the risk of it messing something up or causing a warranty problem. The risk in my opinion is minimal and is basically in the hands of the driver. In my opinion if u are that worried about the warranty just wait and til it runs out. The juice is not going to hurt anything unless u drive like a wild man. Every dealership is different about how they cover warranty on mods. Thats just the way it is and its also a buddy thing. ( like if the service manager is ur good friend or something) Just my two cents. If it were me id get it and never look back!

There are no pump wires to pierce on 3rd gens....
They dealer can't see if the box has been run ...if it is unistalled and there are no telltale signs...velcro...clean fuse box lid...etc.
