Boost gauge causes loss in MPG
Installed my boost gauge tonight. Quick and easy but now I have a problem.
Dang if I don't like to watch the little needle swing around. I think this will lead to a loss of MPG just like the straight pipe did when first installed ( I still like to romp on the loud peddal just to listen
).
Could be some tape across the front of the gauge would improve mileage? Also a restrictive and very quiet exhaust would further improve mileage? Could be taking the BHAF and homemade intake tube off would help as well (darn if I don't like the sound of the turbo
)? Oh ya, the 315s are not helping either, they should go to?
Enjoy!
