No because I have an 05 and I don't beleive the stereo is controled like the 06 stereo.. That and it took several days for it to start acting up, same with the key in ignition buzzer....
It worked like this. I would turn the truck off, take the key out and open the door... For 4-5 seconds the stereo would play, and for 8-10 seconds the buzzer would sound... Did that for an entire day, every time I turned the key off... Went back to stock software same day and went back to normal... Was it the Smarty???? But it was aweful coincidental... I also had two occasions on the beta software where the fast idle wouldn't engage.

Smarty has the lowest possible EGT's for the power level... and the plug and plays are more traceable...
The smarty Jr on 40hp is timing only, I have no desire to add more fuel.

I just got mine 3 days ago and man do I love my Smarty. I even love the smoke it expells out of my exhaust to keep tailgaters at bay!!!!!!!
While towing it helps keep my egts down over stock and improves my fuel economy. easy to use. I now know what all the hype about smarty means.

Just loladed the latest beta software (only available begining today).
I am just back from a 15 Min. test run. Maybe twenty accel runs of varying intensity. I would say that so far it's about 20% less smoky. Still puts out a large puff if I go to 3/4 throtle @ 18-1800 RPM then it clears up. 1/2 throttle @ same RPM: a smallish puff, then clear. 2k RPM w/ 3/4 throttle puff is smaller. Power seems the same. More after my twenty mile commute in the AM tomorow.

I love my Jr and have had two other sr.s on other trucks and loved them as well. That being said my jr pours on the smoke on level 1. Anyone else foggin on 1 under a moderate load? Maybe its my tire size and heavy rotating mass? I don't care I just have noticed that my jr smokes more than my two other sr.s on any level...weird.

after todays testing (high humidity and about 55-65 degrees out) I would revise the smoke reduction % to about 10-15%. not as much as I had hopped for. Sorry Marco (hey maybe its the biodiesel?)

Out of all jr's the smoke complaints are very minor and we will get it all cleaned up.
Thank you
