big injectors and a silver bullet question

what is the biggest injector I can run with a silver bullet? I am wanting twins later but want to get injectors done during the winter. I am currently running flux 3.5 and at 75 mph I see 750 on egt and at wot I see 1350 with water full on and 26.5k of rail pressure. Rob

hey robert i dont know how big the flux 3.5's are but im running nozzles from darkside and they are raited at 180hp. i dont know how he rates them but im pushing the limit with the silver bullet. lots of smoke cant even run any programmer on any settings. i have the smarty but dont have it uploaded or it smokes to bad and egt's get a little hot. pulling a trailer with no water with my injectors would probably push it to the limit on the egt side of it regular driving i see about 800 and giving any throttle it gets to 12-1300 till the silver bullet gets some boost going then it cools it down a bit. but i would say what ever my size is i wouldnt want to go any higher. you might be able to contact bobby from darkside to see what his 180hp injectos flow rate is.

flux 3.5 are close to 175 hp and I tow nothing. I get smoke at idle and driving with no programmer on. I am at maybe 1,000 on the egt with the bullet spools. no remember my water is direct injection for each cylinder and my motor has been decompressd so I think I would be able to cool better and run more fuel than say stock motor with two water nozzles in the intake horn Rob

If you don’t tow anything rob I would just go with the flux 4's then you can always learn to drive different to keep the egt's down and worst case scenario you will get your twins sooner :P

The low compression is causing the idle smoke. You should be able to run a 4.5 or 5 on a single turbo with the 03-04 engine for more power. Of course the idle smoke will just get worse.

I was thinking you had a 03-04, but was using my memory VS reading your sig line. A 4 is about it, but it should be very competitive with a 3.5 already.

I am working on a new design now for big power guys. Wanna try some?
