The best way to be loud for a day?
Just wondering what the easiest way to str8 pipe my truck would be for a day. I tried pulling the muffler. Even un-bolted everything and tried pullin it off with another vehicle. Now I was looking at the back of the turbo today and wondering if I could pull the downpipe off the elbow and seeing if I could run it like that for a day without any damage.
What do ya'll think? I'm sure ya'll are thinkin' "what an idiot" but I'm just curious and wanna make some noise!

You do NOT want to run without a downpipe. You'd probably crack the wheel. You can use a small angle-grinder with cutoff wheels, and slice the pipes at the joint horizontally, then pry them apart that way. They use the same monkey on the exaust clamps as they do the oil filter.

That's what I have on my WS6 T/A..it's a pain in the a$$ to get under there and un-cap the regular cutout. On a truck, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. I just like being able to open and close it while driving down the road. I believe McCord makes an electric cutout that is cheaper, and better quality now that I think about it. Plus they have a rocker-style switch unlike the toggle switch that QTP has.
