I have an Edge w/Attitude that does everything I want, monitors, built in guages and added hp for towing. Exhaust is already 4 in. no need to chnage. Other people will chime in as to what programmer they prefer you will get all kinds of excellent inputs. See my signature for my small upgrades...

Honestly, do your homework. I wouldn't go straight based off of mileage. There are different types of programmers and boxes. Some are pressure, some are timing, some are both, some are harder on the truck than others.

I've got the Diablo Predator on the Charger RT 5.7 but I won't run one on my truck.

If money was no object I'd get EFI Live and completely custom program for the truck.

Smarty Jr. here. Simple and effective with just the right amount of get-up-and-go added without the needs for massive upgrades.

X2 on the jr plenty of power for me. No need for turbo, exhaust, air box , or clutch etc

x3 on the junior. I have an 06. A little over 80000 miles and been getting at least 19 mpg lately.

x4 on the Smarty Jr. [guitar]
I bought my Jr with about 60k miles and now have 102k miles and still love it! More power, better mileage (when you keep your foot out of it) and just an overall better running engine.

X5 on the Smarty Jr, and I've only had it for 2-1/2 weeks. I tried the Edge Mileage Max a while back. It didn't do much for MPG. Smarty Jr and you won't be sorry. My only regret, is that I didn't buy it sooner.

x6 on the smarty jr

X7 on the jr.

Read about it.

You won't find anyone having trouble with the jr. It increases mileage and power (you will be amazed the instant you put it on! ) and I think it reduces injector failure. I just don't read about people having problems with a jr. on their truck.

Ditto on Smarty products especially the Sr. Five minute download,no plumbing and a stellar reputation.

What they said...Smarty!

EFI LIVE turn off 3rd injection event and custome tune it. I got efi live back in DEC AND I picked up 2mpg in the winter months can't wait to see how she is in the heat

RyeThomas Mar 13, 2012 03:49 PM

Rokk tech timing sensor [laugh], that way you increase timing and mileage without the power so you don't mash it and lose it all.

efi live is the only way to go you can custom tune your truck to your driving habits put fuel and timing where you need it the most the only way to go....
