BED SIZES on 2nd & 3rd gens same??

Wondering if a camper shell will fit both 2nd gen. and 3rd gen. 8 ft beds. Are the beds the same size??

I don't know about the 8ft beds but the 2nd gen 6ft beds are longer by about 3in.
