BDS suspension lift

Anyo0ne have any experience with BDS suspension lift kits? Are they comparable to Skyjacker, and other well named brands? Thanx for the input....Jamie

BDS is one of the better off the shelf kits, better than Skyjunker, Rancho, Traildisaster, or Tough Country.

Do yourself a favor and back it up with a good shock, not the throw aways that come with the kit.

I agree with everything he said. I have had two of them on two trucks and they are top notch, shocks are not great though.

Thanx fellas, what brand shock are you guys running. Just wondering what would feel right with this lift. The truck will be ready Saturday. Can't wait!

Rs9000x are great for HD trucks cause you can stiffin it up, so are bilsteins.

Bilstiens.....you should be able to get a set for around $300.....

Actually I got their leveling kit in before winter (2.5") and i replaced the stockers with BDS's new monotube . Its worked quite well so far. Its supposed to be comparable to bilsteins. I never have run bilsteins but these are nice. plus i couldnt resist getting them at cost from my local 4x shop. I got to be the feedback guineapig.

IU called the guy that is installing the kit and he guart. that these BDS shocks were comparable to such brands as Bilistiens. He said that BDS had "upped the annie" on their shocks and were alot better than they use to be. I guess I'll see how they feel first, then change if I think its necessary.
