BDDL with juice

Ok today I got my BDDL to stack with my regular juice the combo pulls really hard and smokes pretty good. I usually run the Bully dog on exteme not crazy larry and the juice on level 4 80 hp. I wouldn't think that would be to much timing becasue the hot goes to 180hp and I know the bully dog does 50 hp worth of pressure. But when I get into higher RPM's it sounds like a clutter noise on the left side of the engine and I can't tell if it is normal or not but if I turn the juice down to about level 2 I hear nothing. Am I running to much timing or what please help.

anybody else have any ideas. Could it be the turbo struggling with that much more power I am throwing at it. Still runs like a bat out of hell but still worried about future problems. Also if I had to comment I would say this stack is a good stack if you know how to limit yourself.

I tried stacking the regular bddl and the edge juice. Same results. Bddl on 50 horse and the juice on 2 was nice smooth power, any higher though and the truck sounded terrible and really didnt gain any more power. The juice on 5/4 was better all around. A better stack is the juice and a pressure only box.

but I wouldn't think the timing would be to exteme becasue the hot juice is 180. So stacking the exteme setting on the bully dog would be a total of 180 timing with 100 juice and 80 from the BDDL and 50 horse pressure form the bully dog is this not right? I figurred it would be a perfect combo when I bought the bully dog. Then agian I did gain alot of power. My 0-60 time before the bully dog was a fastest of 9.4. and that was in 4x4. with the bully dog on exteme and juice on level 4 I pull low 8's in 2wd burning through 4 gears. Just haven't tried the 4wd because I don't want to break anything. But it pulls real hard.
Also will I hurt anything having to much timing or will it just run like ****. I know in a gas engine you can have detonation but I don't know about a diesel being as there is no spark. I am gonna try to play with this setup a little more and see what I come up with but don't wanna tear the truck up.

Well today I went out and did a little testing on my truck with the bully dog on exteme and juice on 3 it is very good power and truck sounds good. On level 4 or 5 The truck just doesn't sound right but you can most certainly tell the performance is there just I don't like the sound but I don't really know what that noise is and don't want the potential to hurt my truck.

Also I look through some other post with guys and high egts with just the bully dog and one chip. Well I only have straight pipe and stock airbox and with the juice turned up to level 5 and the bullydog on exteme which is a combined of like 230 horses I cannot get egts over 1150 I don't know if that is good or bad. Now I have the boost set on 36 and the alert is going off the hole time but egts never do. I was just kinda wondering about that too.

Can anybody really tell me what the noise I am hearing is? The truck still runs good when I hear the noise and can most certainly feel the power but I am still having a problem trying to figure out what that noise is. The top thing on my mind is does this have the potential to hurt my truck or not?

I ran the Hot juice 5/5 with BDDL on extreme everyday without any problems. Try taking one of the boxes out see what happens. Are you still running the stock turbo?

could this possibly a timing knock? I would like to figure this out. I wouldn't think it would be a timing knock since The timing is no more than the regular hot juice. CAn anybody tell me what kind of damaga the timing knock could cause?

I think you may be confusing Timing with Duration.. When you say the Hot Juice is 180hp of timing.. That is not the case. Its probably 40hp of timing and the rest is Duration (leaving injectors open longer).

However the BDDL Also advances the timing and it may be causing a problem are your particular truck.

We have no way of knowing how many degrees each box advances without an expensive oscilloscope. And the companies keeps these closely guarded secrets.

Remember...3 Ways of electronic power increase... 1 Timing, 2 Durations, 3 Pressure..

My vote goes for too much timing advance.
