Banks Bullet

Anyone got one of these yet. They seem perfect for someone who wants a little better fuel mileage and monitor EGT and boost. Looks like it will fit well in a gauge pod. I wonder if they play with timing or pressure.

AZUSA, CA—Gale Banks Engineering has introduced the Banks Bullet™, a budget-priced, entry-level diesel tuner/boost gauge for ’01-04 Duramax LB7, ’03-07 Cummins and ’03-07 Power Stroke pickups. The 2” gauge-mount device has Stock, Tow, and Sport power levels, which are changeable on-the-fly at the push of a button. Check out an Edge EZ too. Good product and the same if not more gains. Me and many others are not a fan of Banks tuning.

I am a huge fan of the Edge products. Have run the Ez or Juice on last 3 trucks with great success. Nothing bad with Banks other than the price though!

I like the Edge also. However at $299 in a nice small gauge type package, I think Banks will it a home run with these. Stick this in a pod, nice clean set up.

i've looked at the edge ez and have heard nothing but great things about them, but i like the idea of the switch on the fly that the bullet has and the only way to do that with edge is to move to the juice w/attitude.

Sorry that's not true. The EZ of the newer trucks comes with a switch so you can change between the 3 different levels on the fly. Skynard bought one to stack with his Hot Juice. On the one i had for my 99 you had to take it apart to switch levels.
