When I do my stacks is there anything to be gained by going up a few sizes after the muffler? I have the parts to do the 6" stacks but no dough to get a 5 or 6" muffler. Just wondering if I would be doing any good for performance with my 4" Magnaflow before it goes to 6"? I'm assuming it would be way to unbearable without a muffler or cat.

 

It's about the same as having a 6 inch tip on a 4 inch exhaust. No performance increase, but you'll have a difference in sound.

 

Thats what I was affraid of. I already knew the answer i just wanted someone to tell me im retarded. Thank you. Anybody know what the best deal on a new muffler might be? Donaldson?
