well all i can say is a properly installed ravelco prevented them from taking my truck. I know i have damage to pay for but i would be hard pressed to be able to afford another one like that. I would be fighting with insurance over the mods and it would be a nightmare. I am looking into a horn setup that is so loud it wakes the dead. i wished we could electrically charge the bodypanels so they get a jolt when attempting to break into a rig.

 

Maybe a soleniod fired propane flame thrower from either rocker panel? LOL.

Anything can be made...

 

CQ now you have me thinkin!! flame thrower and have a fogger nozzle under the door handle to fog out some pepper spray.

Cbrahs, sorry, about your truck hopefuly they can repair it in short order. I too live new mexico, It's amazing I haven't seen you driving your rig around town. Very nice truck In the news this past couple of weeks Iv'e heard of quite a few trucks be stolen In Albuquerque, from what I'm hearing it's the same group of hoods sweeping the city. I'm keeping my truck parked behind my 5th wheel till I can get some kind of alarm system put in.

Met with the insurance adjuster yesterday. Initial estimate is $2200.00 replacing the ENTIRE steering column, knee bolster, cluster lense, repair paint on door and a few others. I am sure the body shop will find underlying damage when they tear things appart and see the whole picture.
