ATS Fender Flares - $600.00 for paint!!

I got my ATS fender flares at a good price =
$250.00 delivered

BUT I was quoted by a body shop $600.00 to paint them to match my truck. The are doing it TWO-TONE as I have gray bottom trim with the blue top.

Is the pricing about right to paint the 4 pieces in 2 colors?
One shop quoted me $750.00!

When you think about the work they have to do.
An adhesion coat then wait till it flashes off, two or three coats of base with time for flashing off in between, and then 3 to 4 coats of clear also with time for flashing off again and then sitting in the paint booth over night. Also being two tone makes for a whole lot more work as well. Paint and clear coat is getting more expensive as well. 600 is cheap
Just my 2 cents.

If I had to have them two toned, I would buy them the base coat (upper color) prepainted and simply spray the bottom myself. They would come with 80% of the work already done.

It was a little over $400 for me ~3 years ago, and that was only a single color

I payed $420 total, painted (silver) and delivered to my home. Maybe the two tone is what's getting you. Dunno...

I've got some Xenon flares waiting to be installed, the local body shop quoted $300 painted and installed . Guess what the dealer quoted?......$200 painted and installed ! You bet I'll go to the dealer! Mine will be all white, though.

Good luck,
Nick

I just had my Bushwacker Pocket style's painted Inferno Red for a grand total of $150. I was shocked by that price but it is about average for the others I have had painted for other vehicles of mine.
