Does anyone know of a good (cheap) place to get a replacement pwr/htd tow mirror? I had a little trouble backing into my garage for the first time in about 8000 attempts... I just can't see paying $310 for one at the dealership. (I have already looked at ebay and searched this site.) Thanks for any help.

I need the pass. side mirror only... which is what I was getting at (but maybe didn't convey clearly) with the earlier statement is that I had already checked ebay, dtr classifieds, etc... And of course, no junkyards in the area have one either... I can find a pair easily enough, but I don't really want to shell out extra cash for a driver's side mirror too, if it's just going to sit in my garage taking up space.

Buy a set and start parking on the other side of the garage ... You just might eventually find a need for the other....


Sorry to hear about your mishap, I have done much worse in the past.

 

That's why I like the boards on this site... Everyone is full of innovative opinions about how to modify your truck. Like tearing off my other mirror in order to make sure I'm not wasting my hard earned cash, for instance... Not to sound too "sensitive" or anything, but you guys are so thoughful...

 

If you had to buy two, I'm sure someone here will eventually need it. You're not the only one with a garage or carport.

 

Yeah some jerk in a u-haul busted my driverside one from headon with the edge of his bed in the middle of a downpour. After I sat there long enough for my knees to hold me I got out and looked, The whole backside was cracked. They never even slowed down, I know they had to hear it, I sure did. Maybe if you get the parts girl to feel sorry for you she'll let you have it at cost, $240.00 LCH
