Anyone running these tires?
Anyone running these tires?
Kumho 285/70/17. Supposedly a new tire at a nice price. I like the tread pattern. I'm trying to find the weight rating but having a hard time because nobody has them listed since they are so new....
My porsche uses Kuhmo track tires, and when on the street I run kuhmo's street tires as well. The track tires are excellent, and the street tires were great in florida..but when I moved to denver I find that they get square when left parked for any length of time, and traction in anything remotely considered chilly is terrible...ice or snow, it will literally sit and spin without trying to move forward. Still, they are durable tires and I just think the performance ones were not designed for cold or even lukewarm
I've abused a LOT of kuhmos over the years with 450 turbocharged horsies and never had one perform badly. I would give the truck tires a shot if I didn't love Bridgestone's AT revo's so much.

Well, the weight rating is 2832lb. That's 350lb lower than the BFG 315s but I wonder if it will be enough. I don't really haul anything more than 2500lb in the bed. They cost half what the BFG 285s cost. I may try some......
