On an 04? If so how does it do?

 

i am running 80's on stock cp3, with AD 150, it has plenty of fuel for my turbo

 

My brother is running them in his 05. The stock cp3 was ok. Now he has twins on his truck and he needs a modified cp3 to take advantage of the 90hp tips and twins

 

I ran 100hp injectors on the stock CP3, but ran out of air and rail pressure. Lots of smoke when the rail pressure was low too. I took them back out until I get around to putting my second CP3 on there. My last dyno, pressure was never over 15K on each run with the MP8 maxed. No popping, but still not enough to feed the bigger tips properly. 15 more hp over the stock tips however.

 

I have been thinking about doing that, smae thing, just not sure, on were to get the CP3 stack, kit, and what kind of injectors to also get, I know the truck will handle it, but got some issues.. anyone got any sugestions, as to which kit to get, and which injectors as well.. tks.

 

What altitudes are you guys at, I am at 8700 feet and worried about Rattle, I do have Compound turbos and the truck runs great on 50hp nozzles but i want just a tad more. Do you think I will be ok or do i need the Modded CP3?

 

It all depends on how much electronics you run on top of the injectors..

 

Just running a Smarty

 

I am running a smarty, stacked with a MP8, and the Air Dog II 165gph, and a different turbo, right now it dyno at 562hp, and 1034 ftlbs, im looking to get into the 600 to 650 hp range, and get maybee in too the 1200 ftlbs range. But soo far this is a hell of a lot better, than my old banks 6 gun system, also the smarty is too cool my EGT has droped 100 degrees or more, on a hard pull. and I hve yet to get the B&D single B special on, had some issue with the dam mount.

 

What about running the Fass through the stock filter? I am at 15psi and it does drop a little bit when I hammer down.
