Anybody notice a "Glare" problem w/ ISSPRO gauges?
I just installed my ISSPRO set-up that I purchased from Dieselmanor, I got the dashtop mount with the 3 gauges. After mounting all the gauges, I noticed that I get a real bad glare problem during the day on the glass lenses of the gauges, and its real hard to read them at times. You can actually see my complete back window on the face of the gauges during the day!!
I have not even completed all the drilling and wiring yet, because I un-decided on what to do, Was wondering if the Di's have the same problem??
I was just wondering if anyone else with these gauges has noticed the same thing.

I also have the isspro gages from Dieselmanor but mine are mounted on the
A-pillar. I've not had a problem with glare. I can see how it might be a problem on the dash with all the sunlight though.
Could you possibly fashion a small visor on top of the pod to reduce the glare?
Just a thought.

Any thing you mount on top of the dash will produce glare. The amount of light will be a problem. I would also think that you get wind shield glare from the mount. I would buy a over head mount and relocate them.
It looks good and no problem with glare.

I have Banks black faced guages in the same mount, and havent ever noticed that datime glare was an issue. Howver, I do get night time light glare on the windshield from the guages. I usually dim the lighting to compensate for it.
