Amplifier Install

I am going to install an amp with subs. Just wondering which battery to run the power supply off of or if it even matters. Thanks

When i do a system I use the driver side battery since its closer to the firewall entrance for the wiring. Doesn't really matter though..

Doesn't matter. Mine is off the passenger side. Just more convenient for me.

Service tech at dodge told me its actually better to take it off the passenger side battery. Drivers battery where voltage is measured and if too much load is placed on this battery you can actually overcharge and blow the passenger side battery. Probably not going to happen using a stereo, but a larger draw like a winch or something should be hooked to passenger side.
