Alignment tomorrow, post 2" spacers? Help? Death Wobble?
 

Hello. I just want to double check something. I finally got my spacers in the front (2''). I am getting it aligned tomorrrow. I have experienced death wobble once, and that was enough. I had another thread going after I had the death wobble, and I was told by a friend from the North to adjust castor to the max (around 5 degrees). Do we all agree this is a good idea? I don't know squat about alignments.

Yes, castor to the max, make sure tire pressures are up too. You should be ok then

I had one case of wobble on my 05 and it was due to an alignment problem. The toe was way off although it still tracked straight. I took it back to the shop and a more experienced tech spotted the toe issue. Never had a problem since then, but death wobble is no joke.

OK guys, going in today, I am going to print this out & bring it. Castor to the max. Any more info or thoughts please keep it coming.

After I installed my lift, went and had it aligned and the best they could do was 3*, so dont be discouraged if you dont get the ideal 4-5*...

What kind of tires are you using? BFG's? I seem to remember a while back that a lot of DW happened with these tires, was a thread on the forum about it. Castor to the max and you should be good.

Thanx guys. I had it done today. It was at 5.5 positive caster. I had told him to try to get it to 5. So he set it at 5. Hope I never hit DW again. Thanx for the tips & wish me luck.
