AirDog issues

This is a continuation of an earlier thread where I posted issues with the truck bogging. I went out this morning to put a new filter on it. Went to prime the system and got nothing. No comforting hum of the Airdog. I'm getting power to the main fuse and it is not blown. If you have any experience with them can you help? This on only has about 30,000 miles on it. Is this about normal? :didimiss::conf::didimiss::conf:

Normal for Airdog products...we quit selling them in the Online Store because of dismal failure rate.

Great! Is the only option FASS at this point? It's blowing fuses too

Been reading the posts re Airdog and am now a bit concerned. I have had an Airdog for many years and thousands of trouble free miles. Have a fuel pressure gauge and the pressure never changes unless I floor it for a long time and then it drops maybe a pound or two. I cannot do without my truck, so am wondering if I should buy a replacement pump and keep it on the shelf. Any suggestions?

Have read on the 'net about the family "war" re these pumps. Have also read how Airdog have redesigned their pumps to eliminate the leak problems. Both pumps are about the same price. On the surface it appears that both pumps are now on the par with one another. Does anybody have any experience with the newer Airdog's and what their life is compared to Fass?

A quick check for suppliers showed that Amazon was the cheapest, but not by much. Any suggestions as to which brand to buy and where to buy it?

Fass is made in America....that is all you need to know ;)

Just replaced my AirDog with a FASS last May. AirDog quit working and started blowing fuses. It had worked fine until I went to back up and hook up my 5th wheel. Babied it about 140 miles until I could put an old Holly Blue in to supply my fuel. Made it home and put in a FASS. Contacted AirDog and they told me they had no record of warranty registration, I don't remember if I had registered it or not as I had put it in 8 or so years prior.

Easy install as the wiring harness and all other parts worked fine.
