OK I've not followed the forum for a while and came back to review install of the Airdog 100 and now I am seeing people are using the Liberty canister with it. I got the 100 several months ago mostly because I didn't want to have any problems and would be able to use the stock canister for supply to the AD and return from the CP3, and then of course the AD would return at the filler neck. Just to update you my first install didnt go so well when the Airdog pump itself turned out broke. So they sent me another unit with a new style pump they are using, it has a bigger housing, but is still the 100. I've just not had time to get back into it. So, are you guys now finding you need the Liberty canister for the 100 also? I also saw something about a spring not being right? I really really don't want to install this and then have to take it off again for another problem. Or maybe since I have the 04.5 with the filter mounted pump this all doesn't apply, LOL! I apprciate your help. My eyes just get so tired or reading through all the old post and searching.

 

folks are using the liberty canister on the newer trucks. since you have the filter mounted pump, you won't need it anyway. git r dun and let us know.

 

since you have a filter mounted pump I would just run it off your stock canister....the jeep canister wont fit on the older trucks...it for the 05+ trucks

 

But you should run the AD return to the canister or you'll have problems when you get to ¼ tank like I do, see here...
