Question AIR LIFT Air Springs

I want to install the Air Lift Super Duty 5000 bags on my truck.

A steal at *amper *ity - $325.26 installed.

No compressor, just the bags and lines installed. ( compressor will come later )

Please let me know if there are any pro's or con's with this product.

I have been quoted close to double for the Fire Stones - same capacity!

All advice will be much appreciated.

Prodigy install - one of the easiest installs except for up grading valve caps on tires to stainless!

The air bags are nice if you tow. I pull a gooseneck trailer with 12,000lbs often and they sure help the ride.No more than 40lbs of air will keep the truck level. They make for a rough ride if you leave the pressure above 20lbs unloaded.I would buy them online.I got mine for around $220. They are very easy to install yourself.

I'll second the self installation. Easy to do especially without the in cab controller.

Are these "no drill" installs also? (Like the Firestones)

Got them on both of my work trucks. Work great. Check out Jegs.

I am hoping to have the lines run to the gas cap filler area, color coded caps for left and right as opposed to having each one under the wheel fenders.

Any one with better placement of these, please share and any pics will be appreaciated.

Thanks

Rod

They are very nice especially when towing. A pound or two of pressure makes all of the difference in the world when towing a fifth wheel. I had the bags installed while on a trip. But I added the compressor later. That made them much better. A worth wile expensive if you tow or haul heavy loads.

Yes, they are a "no drill" installation. Do it your self if you can find an hour or so to spare.

Thanks for all the info, I should have researched this properly before placing my order, I would have done the install myself.
They go in tomorrow, at least Camper City have quite afew outlets across the Nation, so warranty etc problems shouldn't be an issue.
I will give feed back once installed, and hopefully some pics.

Thanks again.
