hmmm, you missed one...The Scotty 5 and you can support the site by getting it here.

The SCOTTY 5 SUCKS! more COOoOoOoOoOOOL AIR then anything else.

Kinda biased to this intake too.

AFE Stage 2 with the pro guard 7 and a pre filter. Its HUGE I love it and the turbo makes an awesome sound. Kit fit and finish are great. Did I say the filter was HUGE!! No noticeable improvement in mileage, can't keep my foot out of it. Got mine from truck racing parts 395.25 shipped to my door without the pre-filter!!

I have the afe Stage II with Pro-Gaurd 7 also. Seems to be the most used oil filter kit. I use a pre-filter on mine to keep water, mud, and other matter from getting directly on the filter element. I am happy with the AFE Stage II air intake. And I will also have to mention that the filter is HUGE.

Well ednerin paid about $5.00 less than I did. Check with the site vendors and see if they can match that price. That is the lowest price I have seen so far. Just do a search or check the primary online sites, genosgarage.com, etc.

I'm running an AFE Stage 2 as well. I will third the huge filter and the sound is like no other especially with the silencer ring removed. I found mine on ebay for $400 shipped to my door. If you shop online, make sure you are getting the newer kit with the 6" filter neck instead of the 4". Good luck.

K&N is the way to go if you ask me. You can surely hear the difference. Also the is a little bit better acceleration.

I just ordered the Scotty 5 from this site Friday. I looked at all these different choices. Why the Scotty's? 1) I have races motorcycles for years, and Uni Filters are what I have used, never a single problem, and they have a top notch reputation. 2) Advice from other members of this board. 3) Scotty posts here and always takes the time to answer all questions completely...watched that awhile before I made up my mind. 4) The price was much less than the AFE....for what I feel will be compairable (or better??) performance.

Will I like it?? Dont know...But as soon as the UPS man pays me a visit I will let you know

I like my Scotty 2 with UNI. You can hear the difference in filtration (hard to describe) compared to the BHAF.

05dodgezilla,

We have a pricing policy to make sure you get the best deal, give us a call. By the way make SURE you get teh Pro Guard 7 AFE Stage II, that way you know you're keeping the dirt out of your engine. The 4 layer gauze filters just really let in a lot of dirt, the PG7 was designed for diesel use and filters as well as anything brand out there in the aftermarket etc.

K@N is the only filter I use. Have used them for the last ten years with no problems. All of this talk about them not filtering as good as paper is nonsense. Just had my oil analysis done with 11000 mile shell rotella t and my silicon level read 2.... So don't buy into the hype that they leak oil or don't filter well.

I like my K&N too i thought it was a pain to clean though. My dad had a K&N on a 2000 chevy tahoe. He overoiled it big time the oil was sucked in to the intake and it fouled up the mass air sensor. It was an expensive mistake. When i oiled mine i let it sit in front of a fan for like an hour and i made sure i wipped off the excess.
