Two thumbs up here ........ just don't rely on the filter minder after installing . That baby flows alot better than stock and sounds so sweet [guitar] !!

I like it as well.

Try a Search and you will definetly find more info about. Both good and bad, but mostly good.

Goodluck

I have the system but changed to the S&B setup. But I still use the Dryflow filter. I love that thing.[guitar]

I put one on last week -- loving it... That turbo really sings!

Make your own. Buy a torque tube, an Amsoil cone fileter, and some added parts and you can have the same thing for under $200.00

Wow. You're all about function huh? It looks like it was built very well with some pretty good skill involved. I hope it works REALLY well, cuz it's the ugliest intake I've seen yet.[redface] But, it saved you some cash I guess if you had the material already lying around. It's kind of like my racecar. People always want me to take the hood off. I just offer them a ride instead.

Function is job#1 around here, but I like form too - beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or in this case - the creator! [laugh] [yuk] Does work awfully well, though. Probably gonna look worse when I get the cowl induction hat built for it. Cost me about $400 to make, but it's worth it.

I always pop the hood on my Goat for people, then they offer to pay me to give 'em a ride... [guitar]

Hmmm...389, three dueces, I see MSD, oil accumulator, not sure about the square thing on the right - pictures not clear enough. Looks really good. Wanna race? I have 126 cubic inches. It's fast, but doesn't look as nice as yours under the hood. Too much crud runnin' everywhere.
Looks like you've spent some money on your truck too. Now you need to make it as fast as the Goat!!! If I saw your car on the street, I would expect it to be fast. Most people don't expect it, when a 7500lb truck runs with a vette. Not that mine is there either, but still a whole lot of fun.

What was this thread about anyway.......Oh yeah, air intakes.[laugh]
I really want a ram-air hood for my truck. If I ever get the money saved up for the hood, I'll be building my own intake as well.

'69 400 w/Ram Air IV valvetrain, nitrous plates under outboard carbs - the square unit on the left is the ether injection system I designed for the center carb (works real well :D )
Lots of shop-made parts for the engine, suspension and drivetrain - mostly aluminum or stainless steel.

At 10K#, my truck won't ever run with the GTO - but I bet I'd win hooking chains! :o [laugh]
