I really like these steps. Fairly simple install. They mount to the pinch welds with 6 bolts. It doesnt sound like much but the steps dont move.

 

nice. Where did you order them from? I need some for my Ram - it's a bit higher than my old Durango.

 

I was thinking of these myself.how was it putting them on ? are they strong?

I got them from www.truckaddons.com

It was pretty easy, you have to drill 6 holes on each side in the pinchwelds so you have to get them up there, mark your holes, move them and then drill.

I'll try to get a pic of the backside where they mount.

 

They are very strong, rated 445 lbs. which is very high for steps. The only bad thing I know about them is that they are carbon steel and will rust once the powdercoating is penetrated.

 

Geez!! All that time to do the steps but no time to wash the **** thing!!!!
