About to pull the trigger and order smarty, but first?
I am just about to order up a smarty because I just went up in tire size and lost a little power but first I have a few more questions for you smarty owners. I plan on just leaving it on the lower levels as I dont want to buy a new clutch so even on lower levels like 3-5 does it smoke alot? Also does it drain fuel pressure or raise the rail pressure to much on a stock truck? Is it really 100% undetectable by a dealer if returned to stock? And for just a simple increase in power is there any other product that you would recommend over the smarty, such as a quad product, or edge, etc. By the way I do have guages. Thanks in advance. Joe
it smokes on the lower levels..but you can download other programs
only the beta currently raises rail pressure
it will pull your fp down but on the lower levels its not very detrimental
as far as i know its still undetectable by the dealer as long as you remove it before taking it in
there are lots of products out there, the smarty is great but if your going to just run it on the lower levels, there is more cost friendly products...if you think your going to want to upgrade in the future...ie. clutch, fuel system, then the smarty would be a great investment

fill out your signature first so we knows what ya got.. I stay on 3 (have auto tranny) and it smokes pretty good. Have not experienced any fuel problems with the lower levels.
You sound like you need more low end torque so I think a Smarty is what you want rather than a box. Smarty adds alot of low end. Supposedly #5 mild is ok on stock clutch and it does give you a big increase in power. And some people say you can run a different set of programs to remove the smoke, I think it is the "aftermarket injectors/stock turbo" programs. You just download them off their site.
I ran mine on the stock fuel system at the track on #9 and didnt have fuel problems.
