Lol very true. I'm leaning towards the 35's for now I have a set of 18x9 XD hoss wheels in the garage begging for some rubber.
I've talked to a few guys with lifted CTD's and they are advising me not to lift it. Some have had problems with universals and ball joints and such terring up. They say it's because the lift and the angle of the driveshaft

I think it was about the same as the top gun lift roughly. No issues whatsoever and it's been 5 years now.

If your not going any higher than 35's I would simply put a leveling kit on and be done with it.
37's will validate the lift...

My mega 8" BDS long arm kit very very nice good great ride! 20" wheels with 37"s pulled a 6" pro comp lift off to install the 8". Truck beside my leveling with 22" wheels with 35"s.

Can you please post the measurement on your front spring bucket lip...top to bottom on the level truck and your 8"? I'm searching for the 6" carli system to replace my skyjunker but don't wan't to go any higher. Thanks!!!
