6.5" speaker in the rear door?
No for performance category, but., if you have a infinity system they call the rears 6 1/2 already. I just put some 6 1/2" alpines in the rears and they work fine. However, the infinity system has a built in crossover in the front doors that only lets the mid and low frequencies to the doors. So 6x9 with tweeters in the doors is a waist of money (so I've found out). I'll have to replace the factory amp.
rear doors are next, got rid of the crappy stockers in front last weekend, went with Kenwood 6X9 3 ways and what a difference, wasn't easy fitting them, kinda did some riggin to get them in.... could not for the life of be believe how cheap the stockers were, plastic, cone, and a weee bit o magnet is all that was to em junk flat out.

I put kenwood x168's 2 way 6.5" sound great, did have to slightly enlarge the 3 holes in the door skin for the mounting screws. only took a few minutes to do and they sound great, my kids are now playing with the magnets from the cheap stockers!!

Just wondering what part of the door you Dynomatted? The area around the speaker, or up inside the door where the window is located (the inside part of the outer door skin)?
