My daughter just saw that picture and now she wishes she could keep a racoon under her bed like Hoot's daughter. We've got a cat, dog, and 2 horses and I don't need a racoon.

Didn't they used to make really cool hats that kid's liked back in "the day?"

that kit that you have is the same as the one I put on
bought through dpp (not made by them)

the only hangers that worked without modding (bombing) was the muffler hangers

I didnt use the downpipe (used banks)

looks like you have the two piece tailpipe put together backwards in the picture
(if you plan to put it together the way you have it laid out)

youll like the sound if you like it loud
I made a 6"chrome tip cause it didnt come with any

nice bends, nice heavy pipe, crappy hangers, no tip
(good thing im a fabricator)

Oh yah
dont put the muffler in backwards
its way tooooo loud, your head will hurt from the drone
it does make a difference

sorry, I see you have a totally different hanger system than I got
mine were clamps with steel rods welded on them, great idea but only two of them lined up the way they should

these guys must buy the pipe bent from someone then make their own hanger system

that pipe is identical to mine though
I mean exact

I realized I had those two backwards after looking at the pictures i took. I was excited after pulling all the pipes out of the box.

WHAT MUFFLER are you talking about?

The guy I bought this from said it was much better to custom hang this system with the suppled 1/2" thick hangers. I agree and that's why i bought my own mig. I figured instead of paying a shop a couple hundred I'd put that cash into my own welder. I thought those guillotine clamps with the hangers welded on them looked a little cheesy but I've not read of anyone else complaining about them.

I had them plasma cut the 4-6 tip for me so it slides over the 5" tailpipe. I have 5" strap clamps coming so I'll try this out straight pipe. If it's too loud I'll get a muffler. My Dmax was straight piped. I loved it.

I bought it all from Rip Rook.
