5" MBRP on 2004 Dually

Last night I received my new 5" MBRP Aluminized Exhaust for my 2004 dually. Previously I was under the impression that I had a 4.5 model and that I had the cummins 600. This is not the case, it's a 555! So now my problem is that I have cut the old exhaust off and need a way to put the new exhaust on.

I would rather upgrade to the 4" elbow than get a 3.5" downpipe but I'm having trouble tracking an elbow down. Also I'm not sure if it will bolt on or if there are differences on the turbo side of things?
And please don't suggest a megamouth cause I'm not dumping another $350 into a truck that will soon be reffered to as "The reason I don't buy Dodges anymore!"

My 94 and 95 V10's were, and still are, ten times the truck!

I would contact either or both of these guys. They may have something laying around. You may also want to think about someone who has installed an exhaust brake. They will have the cast elbow laying around not doing anything. I'm keeping mine though.

You were so right. My dealer had just done an exhaust brake on a 2006 and handed me the elbow for nothing. It bolted right up and worked great! I just need the clamp and I'm all set.

It's louder in the cab than I wanted but definately liveable. I'll log a full tank of fuel and post economy/EGT results. So far doesn't appear to much difference in mileage and EGT's only dropped about 75deg at cruising speed, and 150 at W.O.T.

Glad you got it worked out. I love my 5".

What did you notice for improvements as far as EGT's, mileage, power if any?

On the same hill at the same speed with the same load I dropped about 200 degrees. Power is hard to tell. I haven't dynoed it since I put the exhaust and intake on. I will do it one of these days. I did notice a lot freer revving with it on though. Total mileage increase with the intake, exhaust, modules and the FASS was about 1.6 MPG from stock overall.
