48re overdrive upgrade......
 

installed the suncoast master rebuild and all is well......untill the over drive. Stock has 5 clutches new has 6... do i need to machine the pressure plate or can i remove the waved snap ring for the extra clearance. I could also just install 5 like there was before. So many options what would you guys do?

Don't know exactly how to do it (mine was done by DTT installer), but the 6 clutch plates are worth having!

You need to remove the wave ring, (keep the flat snap ring) and machine the reaction plate. Tim

Tim, which Flux injectors does it take (do you run) to get to 800+ hp w/ your setup?

And when are you moving to Texas.... We could sure use you! :)

On my 06 we did 824hp on 3.3s, 875 on 4.3s. On my 04 555 never used smaller than a 4.3 and it did 868 on those. Tim
