400-500 rwhp, tell me what you think, can i get there?

1)XZT (pressure only)
2)Homemade or AFE air intake
3)Smarty Jr
4)5 inch turbo back
5)pusher or new fass pump
6)modified valve body
7)Gauges; egt, trans, boost.

What yall think? I'm looking for the most reliable way to make the power... Any better ways, should I just sell my new xzt?

I'll take less power don't want to break anything prematurely, want to keep this truck for awhile.

Smarty senior with a mp-8 should do it. Bluechrome put down 505 in his '06 with just the smarty and a htt 64/13 turbo.

Call Quad and get that XZT upgraded to a X2 Race and use pressure only software on it.

Actually, I don't know if I can upgrade my XZT, I think it's the older one.... So I'd have to send it in.

As a note, I don't plan on upgrading the turbo right now.

You might be in the 400-430 range.....but, JUST the regular smarty will get you into the 450 range.

I've sent mine in twice now. It's very reasonable to do so. A lot cheaper than selling what you have and buying new. You can upgrade the old ones. I've done it. Just give them a call, tell them what you want. Usually not much more than $100 unless you order new wiring.

well a normal smarty on 9 with a fuel system made 461rwhp on my truck. it would be a lot more simple just to run one of them I think.

I have seen almost 500HP with a programmer ALONE on a 2006. You could make up the difference (25HP) with injectors, I personally wouldn't screw with the injection pressure on the truck......

You're going to want to upgrade your torque convertor, as well as the valve body. You also don't need the 5-inch exhaust, unless you want it. A regular Smarty will put you close.

Your gonna need more then just a chip unless it's gonna be a dyno queen.
fuel system (airdog, fass)
turbo (little 62)
plus your other suggestion as well as an ugraded tranny will get you there for an everyday 400-500 horse.

The stock turbo will get very warm at 500hp and also may want to think about the tranny a little more if you tow

if you get a edge juice attitude you can get hot unlock feature. its a extra 180 HP (440 ft lbs torque) over the stock 325 HP and 600 ftlbs torque. why would you only need a msarty when a edge juice could do it to?

325 Stock HP + 180 edge HP = 505 HP
600 stock ft lbs torque + 440 extra = 1140 ft lbs torque.

I put down 468/923 with just the Smarty on 9, 5" exhaust, and a dual disc clutch.
